While this picture was streamed using QuickStream9 and a webcam at the World Championships, most tournament producers cannot afford the luxury of setting up a computer and camera on each matt. Often times martial arts tournaments are held in gyms or large rooms where matts are laid out ad hoc with enough room for all the parents and spectators to mill around. Setting up a camera solution for these kinds of contests can be quite challenging using typical video production equipment. However, with PhoneStream the producer can allow the parents to stream each match with their own phone with no problem whatsoever. A simple monopod with a phone bracket, placed on one corner of the matt, does the trick.
